Refit in Valencia Spain

I arrived 13 July solo into Marina Port Valencia - a very good professionally run Marina to fix some design and installation problems with my hybrid electric drive and diesel drive train and address rudder shaft bearing problems. We hauled out on 18 July and began works.

Major items that were completed include:

- Rebuilt hybrid Combi drive electric motor mount and added a new belt tensioner - Replaced failed one main shaft bearing under Combi drive - with two larger bearings - Rebuilt the shaft coupling from yanmar gearbox to prop shaft - New Prop shaft - Replaced shaft seal - Replaced cutlass bearing

- Removed Rudder - repaired with epoxy cracks and damage on bottom of rudder - Rebuilt / replaced bottom pinion bearing - New Jeffa center bearing - New top bearing and rebuilt top bearing support

About $51,000 total for this work Nellie was back in the marina on 2 August.
